DEPEYSTER — A Depeyster man was charged June 29 with violating an order of protection on May 3, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Edward G. Gagnon III, 34, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and false personation stemming from an incident on CR 10, officers said.

Deputies said Gagnon gave a false name to deputies to avoid arrest.
