Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor: Under the direction of the TVR Program Manager the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor is responsible for conducting intakes, determining eligibility, and assisting the consumers with disabilities in their Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) and pursuing of their individual goals. SUNY Potsdam Department of Computing and Technology Services is seeking a Technology Support Professional (TSP) to offer Tier 1 technical support that assists administration, faculty, staff, and students with all manner of computing and peripheral support of college owned computers, including, but not limited to: hardware troubleshooting, software troubleshooting, replacement of defective equipment, new software installation, new hardware installation, Android, iPhone, iPad support, desktop/Laptop network connectivity and software installation. These duties include documentation of problems be they in the problem ticket tracking system or in the form of new documentation written. Further it is the responsibility of this employee to manage and assist students functioning in the role of “student technicians” in the service of Computing & Technology Services. The TSP also assists in support of academic and nonacademic conferences and presenters. The duties of a TSP require the position to service non-SUNY Potsdam offices that are charged rental space (tenants) as deemed necessary by the CIO or their delegate.
