Stacie is survived by her husband, James; her children, Paige Bertram and fiancé Hayden Rolf, Andrew Bertram, and Carson Bertram, all of Ogdensburg; her mother, Barbara Ames-Montroy & her husband Leon of Ogdensburg; her in-laws, Ronald (Merrilee) Bertram of Hammond; her brother, Christopher (Celia) Ames of Ozark, MO; her sister, Nicole (Craig) Thornhill of Ogdensburg; her grandmother Beverly Morley of Ogdensburg, her stepbrother, Leon (Brooke) Montroy of Myrtle Beach; her stepsister, Kara (Frank) Cushing of Ogdensburg; nieces and nephews Tyler, Paisley, Rylan and Corbyn Ames, and Austin and Jackson Thornhill; and her beloved dogs, Luke and Grace. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.

Stacie was born in Potsdam, the daughter of William and Barbara (Morley) Ames. She graduated from Heuvelton Central School and continued her education at SUNY Canton, where she earned a degree in Business Administration. She later married James Bertram on November 22, 2003.

Stacie began her career working at Acco International. As her family grew, she made the decision to stay home and raise her children, a role she cherished deeply. In 2016, she became a permanent teacher’s assistant with the Ogdensburg City School District, a position she took great pride in. She especially valued the opportunity to help nurture and develop the minds of young people.

She enjoyed attending her children’s sporting and musical events, collecting antiques, gardening, decorating for each holiday throughout the year, cooking, crocheting and spending time with her animals. She also had a gift for conversation and genuinely enjoyed connecting with the people around her.

Above all, Stacie cherished her family and the time she spent with them. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center, 5 Lyons Place, Ogdensburg, NY 13669. Condolences and fond memories can also be shared online at www.foxandmurrayfuneralhome.com
