Landon Timothy Antush Flint, 20, Ogdensburg

Posted

OGDENSBURG - Landon Timothy Antush Flint was born on June 2, 2006, in Ogdensburg, New York, to Joshua and Amanda Flint. For twenty years, his family had the gift of loving him, watching him grow, and seeing him become a strong, kind young man with so much life ahead of him.

Landon carried on a special family legacy as a firstborn son, just like his father, Joshua, his grandfather, Timothy, his great-grandfather, James, and his great-great-grandfather, Erwin. Five generations of firstborn sons, connected by love and family.

Landon passed away on September 26, 2026, after a tragic accident at work. He fought so hard for four days, with the strength his family had always known and admired. He passed surrounded by more family than a cardiac ICU would ordinarily allow. The wonderful staff understood how loved he was and allowed everyone to be together, a kindness his family will never forget.

Landon graduated from Potsdam Senior High School in 2024 and completed the welding program at BOCES. He then attended the Divers Institute of Technology in Seattle, graduating in April 2025 as an internationally certified commercial diver. His work took him to Florida, Mississippi, and finally Virginia. He had worked hard to follow his dream and was only beginning the life he had imagined for himself.

Landon loved hunting, camping, motocross, four wheeling, jiu-jitsu, and his beloved dog, Duke. He loved spending time at the gym, extravagant shopping trips with Mom, growing stronger, countless hours of x-box with Ryder, and learning new things. Over the years, he participated in archery, trap shooting, swimming, baseball, football, and hockey. Once something caught his interest, he put his heart into it.

He also had a love for good food and an appetite to match. Mac and cheese, Mom’s baked beans, Dad’s spaghetti, lasagna, sushi, rotisserie chicken, cabbage noodles, and a big steak were some of his favorites. His family will always think of him when those foods are on the table, remembering how much he enjoyed them and wishing he were there to share another meal.

Landon was the best son, big brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, and big cousin anyone could ask for. To his siblings, he was “Bro” and “Bro Bro.” He loved being with his family and was always the first to say yes to a family card game, hunting, four wheeling, a trip to the arcade, or even a cross-country trip to Texas to see John Cena. He was up for anything. His parents, siblings, grandparents, and cousins will forever treasure those times together, from the biggest adventures to the ordinary days they wish they could have back.

Landon has been so loved his whole life. His family cannot imagine the gatherings without him, the empty place at the table, or all the years they thought they would have together. Twenty years could never have been enough.

In his final gift, Landon leaves this world the way he lived in it: helping others. Through organ donation, he will save eight lives, giving others the chance at more time with the people they love. His family will always be proud of him.

Landon is survived by his father, Joshua Flint; his mother, Amanda Flint, and her fiancé, Jacob Satterley; his brother, Ryder Flint; and his sisters, Hunter and Riley Satterley. He is also survived by his grandparents, Timothy and Rebecca Flint; his great-grandparents, James and Leona Flint and Raymond and Beverly Cutler; his aunts and uncles, John and Alicia Jones and Jimmy and Brenda Kinslow; his cousins, Brady and Jack Jones, Ashlee Godlewski, and Lyndon Bentley; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Anthony and Pearl Godlewski; his great-grandfather, Donald Walters; and his great-great-grandparents, Erwin and Kareata Flint and Ralph and Hilda Moses.

Landon set the bar so high in the way he loved, the kindness he showed, and the strength he carried. He loved lifting weights, but the most beautiful thing about him was how he lifted the people around him. We will spend the rest of our lives trying to love a little harder, give a little more, and be a little more like Landon.

We love you, Bro Bro. We always have, and we always will.

Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Thursday, October 8th from 3-7 pm. Condolences for the Flint family can be shared @www.garnerfh.com. A celebration of life for Landon will be held on Friday at 2 pm at the Potsdam Town and Country Club.
