Gloria A. Trimm, 92, Winthrop

WINTHROP -- Private graveside services for Gloria A. Trimm, 92, a resident of 196 Converse Road, Winthrop, will be held in the Beech Plains Cemetery, Pierrepont.

Mrs. Trimm passed away Saturday afternoon, June 22, 2024, at the United Helpers Maplewood Campus after a brief stay after living with her daughter, Stacey after the passing of her beloved husband Sterling in 2021.

Gloria is survived by her five sons, Steve Trimm, Winthrop; Tracey and Debbie Trimm, Massena; Sterling and Roxy Trimm Jr., Gouverneur; Herb Trimm, Massena; John Trimm, Winthrop; her four daughters, Florence and Walton Douglas, Winthrop; Cindy Lytle, Norwood; Patricia and Jack Hartson, Winthrop; Stacey and Rodney Aldous, Pierrepont; several beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Gloria was pre-deceased by her parents Rollie and Florence; two brothers, Rollie and John Lobdell; two sisters, Anna Griffin and Betty Gonyea and her daughter-in-laws, Joanne Trimm and Sandy Trimm.

Born in Potsdam, NY on February 6, 1932, to the late Rollie and Florence Jenner Lobdell, Gloria met and married the love of her life, Sterling on May 20, 1947.

Together, they raised their family on the family farm.

Gloria was a devoted homemaker while working the family farm.

In her free time, Gloria enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and going shopping, but found her most enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
