RENSSELAER FALLS -- Indian Creek Nature Center will host a fall bird walk Saturday, Sept. 28, 8-10 a.m. (rain date Sept. 29) with Dr. Susan Willson and Eileen Wheeler. Meet at 8 a.m. in the parking lot at the main entrance. Dress for the weather and be prepared for muddy trails and mosquitoes. Wear good walking shoes. Dr. Willson is a bird ecologist and professor at St. Lawrence University, Wheeler is an ICNC board member and birder with tons of knowledge about local bird species. Expect to find fall songbird, raptor and waterfowl migrants passing through on their way to wintering in the southern US and Latin America, as well as resident species that are found at Indian Creek year-round.
