WADDINGTON - Glenn Barse, age 79, passed away at his home with his family by his side on September 22, 2026. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, 60 Maple Street, Massena.
Glenn was born in Brasher Falls, on June 11, 1947, the son of Francis and Pauline (LaVare) Barse. Glenn was an assistant mechanic for many years working for an auto garage in Massachusetts before settling in Massena.
Glenn is survived by his companion of many years, Katrena Katura; his daughters, Loralea Sexton, Molly Simpson, and Elizabeth Gladding; his son, Jeremy Barse; his step-grandchildren, Jonpaul Fowler, Dallin Simpson, Awemae Simpson, Donson Simpson, John Sexton, Autumn Peets; his sisters, Miriam (Ronald) Streeter, Pamelia (Stephen) Stanka and Georgina Barse.
Glenn enjoyed playing guitar and singing, watching TV, camping, fishing, cutting logs, working around his garage, doing small engine repair, and spending time with his family.
Memorial donations in Glenn’s memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
