GardenShare would like to extend a hearty thank you to everyone who participated in our 3rd Annual Fight Hunger Fair in the Canton Village Green on Sunday, September 15th! With the generous support of our event sponsors, and all of you amazing 5K and Veggie Adventure Run fundraisers, we were able to raise over $12,000 to support our programs to ensure food security for all St. Lawrence County residents.
We wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you so thank you, once again, for reminding us how important this organization is to our community.
A special thanks to everyone that helped make this event happen, including our 5K participants and fair attendees, dedicated volunteers, and sponsors. In addition, we would like to acknowledge the Big Spoon Kitchen one more time as the recipient of the 2024 Growing Community Award for their work with Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Harvest Kitchen on the Farm-to-School Program, and their immense impact in the local culinary scene.
