COLTON — Colton-Pierrepont Central School celebrated its C.A.P.E awards in the month of December.
C.A.P.E. is a monthly Leadership Award that is given out during Friday Forum. C.A.P.E. stands for “Colts Acting with Perseverance and Effort.” Each month has a different leadership trait.
The goal of C.A.P.E. Awards is to shine a light on kids setting a good example for their peers. December recognized students who were INSPIRING to staff and students alike.
They are Ellie Thivierge, Addison Cardinell, Charlotte Montroy, Emma Coleman, Charley Hewer, Lily Prescott, Bailey Benson, Jaxon Brown, Logan Bradish, Layne Benson, Aleea Baker, Jazlynn Kulhanek, Aiden Dalton, Desiree Chamberlain, Dakota Brossoit, Ridge Planty, Liam LaMora and Brooklynn O'Riley were all great examples of what it means to inspire. CPCS could not be more proud of its future leaders.
In addition to the annual C.A.P.E. award announcements, CPCS also celebrated their student leaders for helping to research, propose and purchase new sleds for student use as well as performances led by Braighan McGrath and the high school emerging Ensemble, all to inspire younger students to strive for excellence.
