POTSDAM -- Cheryl Diane Scott, 73, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2024, in Ocala, FL where she had made her home for many years.
She was born May 22, 1950, in Potsdam, NY the daughter of Wendel James Scott and Virginia Ward.
She attended Potsdam schools and SUNY New Paltz.
She is survived by her mother, her brothers, Richard Scott, Michael and Stephan Sharlow, and her sister, Kathy Sharlow along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father and her brother, James Scott.
Cheryl was particularly talented in arts and many types of crafts. She enjoyed expressing herself by creating beautiful things.
She was also a loyal and good friend to those who knew her.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the New Hope Community Church, 33 Grant Street, Potsdam, NY at 1:00 p.m.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
