Buckley Dean Denesha, 58, Gouverneur

GOUVERNEUR -- Buckley Dean Denesha, 58, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his home.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 22nd from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur with Rev. Greg Bailey, pastor of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating and burial to follow in Hailesboro Cemetery.

Buckley was born in Gouverneur on September 8, 1965, the son of Harold Jr. and Madeline (Randall) Denesha

He attended Gouverneur schools and worked construction in the North Country for various companies.

Buckley enjoyed hunting, fishing, and listening to music, especially country

He is survived by his father, Harold Jr. and Lynette Denesha of Edwards; his sisters, Delinda and Steve Hartle of Fowler, Laurie Denesha and her husband, Mike Hanson of Brownville; his brother, Joseph Denesha of Gouverneur; several nieces and nephews, and other extended family members.

Buckley is predeceased by his mother, Madeline; his brothers, Dale Denesha and Jeffrey Denesha; and his sister, Jody Cole.

Memorial donations in memory of Buckley are suggested to the Gouverneur Vol. Rescue Squad.
