Yvonne M. LaPage, 83, Winthrop

WINTHROP – Yvonne M. LaPage, 83, of County Route 51, passed away early Monday morning, July 1, 2024, at the home of her sister-in-law, Linda Jackson, in Norfolk.

Yvonne was born on May 25, 1941, in Massena, the daughter of the late Clarence Homer and Beulah (Goodrich) Russell.

She attended Pine Grove, Harrowgate, and Massena High School before graduating from Norwood-Norfolk Central School.

Yvonne worked for a time in Texas, but dedicated her life to raising her family. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, and playing Bingo.

She is survived by her children, Donald C. LaPage of Canton, Connie (Rick) Cox of Griswold, Connecticut, Shawn (Jenny) LaPage of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Daniel (Cindy) LaPage of Portsmouth, Virginia, and Lisa LaPage of Winthrop; her grandchildren, April, Bridget, Casey, Amanda, Tonia, Teagan, Michelle, Christopher, Ryan, and Robert; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald on October 14, 2020; two grandchildren, Joshua LaPage and Amber Calvert; her sister, Janice Fregoe; and her brothers, Wendall, Kevin, Dwight, Keith, and John Russell.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, however services will be held privately with burial in Hopkinton-Fort Jackson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in her memory to the Tri-Town Rescue Squad.
