POTSDAM – The highly anticipated Rock The Call Event returns this year, with all profits dedicated to PCS Music Friends, the booster club supporting the Potsdam Central School District’s music program.
The event will take place on May 25th at Saint Larry's Bar and Grill in Potsdam, featuring a full day of live music and community celebration.
Started a couple of years ago to support local causes, Rock The Call has grown into a cherished tradition. This year, the event will include a $5 cover charge per person, with all proceeds directly benefiting the PCS music program.
The inspiration for Rock The Call came from a trip to New York City, where organizer Andy Deon met renowned Blues artist Jeremy Bar-Illan at An Beal Bocht Cafe in the Bronx.
Jeremy, the founder of the Purple Hat Foundation, hosts an annual benefit concert, a tradition that has inspired this North Country version.
In addition to live music, the event will feature raffle items, T-shirts, and tote bags available for purchase. Rock The Call 2024 Lineup:
12:00 PM - 1:15 PM – LP Acoustic
