Trent D. Smithers, 22, Potsdam, was charged with Wrong Way on a One-Way Street, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, no insurance and improper plates on Aug. 30 at 12:17 a.m. on Union St.

Smithers was issued the above Uniform Traffic Tickets after patrol observed him driving the wrong direction on a one-way street on Union Street. Upon traffic stop a DMV check revealed the vehicle had switched plates on it and was not registered or insured.

The charges are returnable in Potsdam Town Court on Sept. 18.

Kayle M. McCormick, 22, Potsdam, was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign on Aug. 30 at 8:08 p.m. at Main and Cedar St.

The ticket is returnable in Potsdam Town Court on Sept. 11.

Corson D. Green, 25, Potsdam, was charged with open container on Aug. 30 at 11:02 p.m. on Elm St.

Christopher L. Smith, 46, Madrid, was charged with failure to stop for stop sign, failure to keep to the right half of roadway, Driving While Intoxicated,  Driving While Intoxicated - BAC .18% or greater, on Aug. 30 at 11:16 p.m. on Bay St.

Smith was charged after patrol observed his motorcycle traveling westbound on Main Street and failed to stop at the stop sign on Main Street at its intersection with Cedar Street prior  turning left onto Cedar Street. The motorcycle then failed to keep to the right half of the roadway while southbound on Cedar Street.

The charges are returnable in Potsdam Town Court on Sept. 18.

Arianny E. Sosa, 20, Brooklyn, was charged with underage possession of alcohol on Aug. 30 at 11:33 p.m. on Cedar St.
