Edward D. Kane, 24, Franklin, Mass., was ticketed for failure to obey traffic control device on April 11 at 1:24 a.m. after patrol observed him fail to obey a traffic control device while at a signal light turning from Raymond Street onto Market Street.
The ticket is returnable in Potsdam Town Court on April 24.
Tianna M. Jacob, 24, Potsdam, was ticketed for no/improper signal on April 11 at 1:53 a.m. on Market Street. Patrol observed her fail to signal from a parked position on Market Street into the lane of traffic on Market Street.
The ticket is returnable in Potsdam Town Court on April 24.
Katie J. Vallance, no age listed, Norwood, was charged with petit larceny on April 11 at 2:51 a.m. on State Highway 56, Norwood. Vallance was arrested and processed on the above charge stemming from a complaint that occurred on Oct. 16, 2023 in which she is accused of leaving a local business on Market Street without paying for items. Potsdam police were unable to locate Vallance at the time of the incident to arrest her on the charges and an arrest warrant was issued by the Town of Potsdam Court. Vallance was taken into custody on SH 56 in Norwood by New York State Police during a traffic stop and turned over to Potsdam police on the warrant. Vallance was processed and issued an appearance ticket to return to Potsdam Court on April 24.
Timothy J. Gratton, 50, North Bangor, was charged with following too closely on April 11 at 8:11 p.m. following an accident on Maple Street. Patrols responded to a report of a two-car accident on Maple Street and found Gratton to be at fault for the accident due to following too closely. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were transported to CPH by Potsdam Rescue for injuries sustained in the accident.
