The 17th annual Higley Hundred Bike Ride had a turnout of about 60 participants starting and ending at Higley Flow State Park Sept. 10. Riders on the longer (100 km) ride visited roads in Pierrepont, Potsdam, Stockholm and Parishville before finishing back at the Park in Colton. The shorter (50 km) ride also involved some climbing, along with roads through some picturesque farmland. A picnic followed the ride, provided by Big Spoon Kitchen. These rides help support the work of the Friends of Higley Flow State Park. More info: www.higleyfriends.org. Photo submitted.
