Two scouts from Girl Scout Troop 50240 of Potsdam work on a library box recently in celebration of National Girl Scout Week. The week is celebrated by all Girl Scouts in the USA. Troops plan all sorts of activities and events in celebration of the founding of Girl Scouts in 1912. In the North Country there are five Girl Scout service units as part of a Girl Scouts NYPENN Pathways, Inc. Council, which serve girls 5-18 years old. New members are always welcome.
