CANTON -- Phantom in the Park returns to Canton on October 24, bringing together families for a wide range of games and activities.
"Phantoms in the Park is a cherished Canton tradition," said Tom Graser, Community and Membership Relations Manager for the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. "It is always great to see the kids in their Halloween get-ups, but it is especially nice to see Canton businesses support this event."
The event begins at noon in the Canton Village Park, with the popular costume parade kicking off at 1 p.m.
Local groups, volunteers and students from St. Lawrence University and SUNY Canton will take part.
Nature Up North will also host a pumpkin carving and painting station.
Organizers are seeking community volunteers to assist with the event. Needs include individuals to set up and run simple games, judge the costume contest, and monitor street crossings during the parade. To volunteer, contact Tom Graser at tom@slcchamber.org or 315-386-4000, extension 5.
