A Clear Choice,

My choice for our District 21 Congressional Representative this coming November has been an easy one to make.  Mr. Blake Gendebien will defend the interests of the people and will be accessible. He will serve as someone who, along with other, responsible Congressional representatives, will hold the Trump Administration,  and Donald Trump in particular, accountable for assaults on the Constitution and Rule of Law.  He has my vote.

Mr. Anthony Costantino, in marked contrast,  is supported by, and supports Donald Trump.  He will prove to be a loyal enabler of Mr. Trump’s worst excesses during the last two years of his presidential term.  Mr. Trump has made things worse for the residents of District 21 by alienating Canada with tariffs and hostile rhetoric thereby impacting local businesses, raising the cost of fuel as a result of an ill-conceived war with Iran, causing inflation to increase, limiting student visas that affect enrollments at local Universities, and cutting back on SNAP and other benefits that are much needed.  These are only some the local impacts on District 21 and I haven’t even begun to document the larger national or international issues such as his assaults on Democracy, Science, and the Environment where Mr. Trump’s willful ignorance and lawlessness  is failing us all, or his disgraceful performance at the United Nations.

I suggest you honestly ask yourself: “How have the actions of the Trump Administration  made your  life better?”  

 Mr. Trump has proven to me to be someone I cannot believe, trust, or respect.  I cannot vote for Mr. Constantino who has “hitched his wagon” to the Trump wagon train.
