Paul B. Morrow, 81, Massena

MASSENA -- Paul B. Morrow, 81, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, at Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital in Plattsburgh.

Paul was born April 12, 1943, in Ogdensburg, the son of the late Leo and Mary (Fleetham) Morrow.

He was a graduate of Massena High School and SUNY Plattsburgh. In 1975, he married Barbara Viskovich at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Leo Wiley, officiating.

Paul worked at General Motors for many years until its closure. He was also a local businessman who owned and operated Skin Stitch in Massena and was a co-owner of Nadeau’s.

Paul was a member of the Elks Lodge and an avid Boston Bruins Hockey fan. He enjoyed traveling, having spent a month in Egypt and China as well as vacations to Costa Rica. Additionally, Paul enjoyed Sea-Dooing, car rides, playing cards, and his pets.

Paul is survived by his daughter and her companion, Heather Morrow and JT Lamkin, of Ithaca; his wife, Barbara of Massena; his sister, Maureen Terrance of Massena; and his nieces and nephews, Pat Breen, Julie Cooke, Peter and Trina Terrance, Patrick, Michael, and Maureen Leary.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Martha Connors and Patricia Matthews.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday 2:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Massena. A celebration of his life will follow the services beginning at 3:00 PM at the Elks Lodge, Bowers Street, Massena.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in his memory to the Massena Humane Society.
