OGDENSBURG -- Leah Taylor, a 7th grader at Ogdensburg Free Academy, was named the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month for May.
Leah was nominated by Greg Hooper, LCSW-R, OFA School Social Worker who had this to say about her, “Leah is a very compassionate and caring person and is able to empathize and show concern for others.” Suzanne Beach, 7th grade Math Teacher at Ogdensburg Free Academy had this to say about her, “Leah is a hard-working math student. She is organized and does her work on time. Leah is not afraid to ask questions when she needs help. She always has a smile on her face and I’m glad I was able to work with her this school year.”
Leah Taylor received a $25 check from Ed-Med Federal Credit Union, a Certificate of Achievement from OFA and a plaque from the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
