Norwood Public Library’s Summer Reading Program open to local youth

NORWOOD — Library at the Beach, gaming and creative writing for teens, story time and art classes are among Norwood Public Library’s Summer Reading Program.

This year the program will explore the many adventures available at your library. Adventures include:

  • Read-At-Home Program with incentives for all ages beginning  July 1.
  • Teen Tuesdays at 2 p.m.with gaming, creative writing, and more.
  • Library at the Beach will be held  at 1 p.m. on Thursdays at Norwood Beach, starting  July 11.
  • Weekly Early Literacy Story times will be on Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
  • Adventures Through Art with artist Kris Rozelle will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays, beginning  July 10. Registration is now open. Call (315) 353-6692.
  • Adventure Party with games, tie dye, s'mores, free books, and inflatable water slide, sponsored by The Friends of Norwood Public Library. Call the library for more information.
