To the Editor:
The Friends of the Norwood Public Library held a very successful book sale at the Norwood Harvest Festival on September 21. It was a beautiful day and everyone seemed to be in a festive mood.
We would like to thank everyone who purchased books and puzzles. We are also very grateful to everyone who donated books for the sale. A few generous donations of children's books allowed us to give away almost 100 children's books. We would also like to thank Sharon and Dick Bastille, who put endless hours of work into organizing the festival, and North Country This Week for helping to publicize our sale.
All proceeds from the book sale will go to the library and support the many activities they provide our community.
