To the Editor:

North Country Pickleball Club extends our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, everyone that donated money and gift baskets, volunteers, and participants that made the Firefighter's Fall Fundraiser a success.

This event raised $20,000 for the Potsdam, West Potsdam, West Stockholm, Hannawa Falls, and Norwood Volunteer Fire Departments. We are grateful that the community came out to support this day that was full of activities. Thank you to all of the runners that ran in the 5K, the kickball players, the pickleball players, and most importantly thank you to all of the firefighters that shared their day with us. 

The 9/11 ceremony was incredibly special and a reminder of how important each of you are to our communities. Your dedication, courage, and commitment to our villages is a gift to all of us and we are honored that we were able to have had this fundraiser for your departments.
