LOUISVILLE - Melinda A. Wilson, age 84, passed away peacefully at Massena Hospital on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
Melinda was born to the late Henry J. and Elva (Sharlow) Wilson on January 26, 1942 in Waddington, NY. She attended Madrid High School. She helped out after school as a farm hand on many various farms and worked at Andy’s In Norfolk, until she met her husband Allan G. Wilson. They soon married on August 11, 1962 in Madrid at St. John the Baptist Church by the late Rev. LaLone.
Melinda is survived by her four daughters, Paula Wilson and Lisa Wilson both of Massena, NY, Gwen and husband Everett Bradley of Canton, NY, Rosemary and husband Guillermo Quintana of Fort Myers, FL; along with six grandchildren, Daniel Zera, John Paul Maxwell, Patrick Bradley, Sofia Quintana, and John Empey; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Mason, Evan and Landon Zera, Harlan Zera, Natalie Bishop and Piper Monroe. Melinda is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Melinda is predeceased by her four brothers, Herby, Lyle, Floyd and Jesse Murray; along with three sisters, Pauline Joubear and Patricia Bradley and grandchildren Kristen Daggett and John Paul Maxwell.
Calling hours for Melinda will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home located at 64 Andrews Street in Massena, NY. Burial to take place following funeral services in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Louisville, NY.
