MASSENA — Two Massena women were accused of drug possession while being arrested on warrants, according to state police.
Jessica Stowell, 43, and Casey J. LaMotte, 29, were each charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance May 14, officers said.
Troopers responded to the Massena Police Station and verified the warrants for Stowell and LaMotte. During a safety search of their belongings, they were both found in possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Both subjects were arraigned and released on their own recognizance, police said.
