MASSENA — A local teen was charged with two counts of rape Aug. 28, stemming from an incident last summer, according to village police.
An unnamed 16-year old was charged with first-degree rape and second degree rape, both felonies, as well as first-degree sexual misconduct, officers said.
The alleged incident took place in the summer of 2023.
Police said the teen was arraigned in St. Lawrence County Court (Youth Part Court) and released.
