Jim Randall .of Lewisville, N.C.. is now a three-time National Masters Olympic Weightlifting Champion for the United States.

"Pastor Jim" (as he is known by his teammates), won his 3rd title competing in the 102kg category. The event, held at the Cane River Center in Baton Rouge Louisiana, saw Jim once again set nine National records en-route to his third title.

When asked how he is able to continue to train and compete, Jim simply said, "The good Lord has blessed me with the strength to do this, and I get the chance to share that faith with others."

Just before his weightlifting session begins, pastor Jim kneels at the practice platform and invites all competing athletes during his session to pray and give thanks to the Lord.

"We used to start a session with a couple of athletes, and now it's grown with prayer groups in all the sessions." It's very encouraging to see the Lord at work here."

With this win, Jim will compete at the World Masters Olympic Weightlifting Championships in Rovaniemi, Finland this year.

"This is a great opportunity to win Gold for the USA once again," said Pastor Jim. "After winning the Worlds in 2021, we missed the 2022 games due to Covid, and 2023 was a healing year for me due to an operation. I'm excited to return near full strength and compete for Team USA."
