Arrested at 9:56 AM for Operate Motor Vehicle Without Inspection, Unlicensed Operation and Criminal Contempt 2nd.  Defendant was arrested on the above charges following a traffic stop. Defendant was observed to be operating a red 2008 Volkswagen on East Barney Street with no New York State inspection sticker. Further investigation revealed that the defendant did intentionally disobey a duly served stay away order of protection issued by Gouverneur Town Court. Defendant was arraigned in the Gouverneur Town Court before Judge Stan Young and released on his own recognizance. Defendant is to reappear in the Gouverneur Town Court at a later date.

Defendant did steal 1 Crest toothpaste gum detoxify valued at $9.99, 1 gum proxabrush tight valued at $4.79, 1 Dove AC valued at $7.69, 1 Loreal Ever cream cone valued at $9.59, 1 Suave Max hold non aero valued at $4.49, 1 Venus simply sens valued at $12.99 and 1 BIC lighter pocket pk valued at $8.99 from Gouverneur Price Chopper, by placing the items onto her person and leaving the store failing to render payment for such products. Defendant was issued an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town court date.

Arrested at 2:55 PM for Petit Larceny. Defendant was arrested for a petit larceny that occurred on June 7th, 2024 at approximately 2:50 PM located at Small Town Supply. The defendant did intentionally conceal on her person a can of pink marker spray paint, a black 1000 lumen flashlight and a folding knife totaling a value of $70.97 and then left the store with said items failing to pay for them. Defendant was issued an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town court date.

Arrested at 2:37 PM for Criminal Mischief – 2nd Degree (felony). On May 23, 2024 at approximately 11:30 PM the defendant allegedly threw a metal Estwing claw hammer from the passenger side of a vehicle he was traveling in and the hammer struck the passenger side rear door and passenger side box of a pick-up truck causing damages estimated to be approximately $2,372.77. The defendant was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court and released on his own recognizance with a return Gouverneur Town Court date.

Arrested at 7:01 PM for DWI – 1st Offense, Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol, Refusal to take Breath Test, and Failed to Yield Right of Way at Stop Sign. Defendant was involved in a personal injury accident at the intersection of East Babcock Street and Clinton Street. Defendant was found to be impaired by alcohol. Arrested at 6:30 PM for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd-3 or more dates/scoffs, use of vehicle without interlock device, Disorderly Conduct - threatening/violent behavior, and Resist Arrest. Defendant was operating a Mitsubishi Outlander on West Main Street. Defendant was pulled over in the Stewart's Shop parking lot, 90 West Main Street, for driving with a revoked New York driver's license. Defendant also has a restriction of a interlock device which the vehicle he was operating did not have. The defendant then proceeded to yell in the parking lot multiple times after being told by the Gouverneur Police Officer to discontinue. Defendant then got out of the vehicle again, continued to yell and threw his crumpled up uniform traffic tickets at the patrol car. Defendant then resisted arrest after being told he was under arrest for disorderly conduct. Defendant was processed and released with appearance tickets for the Gouverneur Town Court.

The defendant was arraigned in the Gouverneur Town court before Judge Travis Dann and remanded to the Saint Lawrence County correctional facility on $1,500 Cash/ $3,000 Bond. Defendant also had several other outstanding warrants with the New York State Police.

While attempting to arrest the defendant, the defendant prevented a Gouverneur Police Officer from affecting the arrest after the defendant stated "not today" and took off on the bicycle peddling away from the police officer. Defendant was arraigned in front of Judge Dann and released on own recognizance, but remanded to the Saint Lawrence County Correctional Facility on other charges.
