OGDENSBURG — Four people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop Tuesday, Aug. 20, according to state police.
Troopers charged Nathaniel A. Picardi, 33, of Greene, second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance felony, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration.
The charges stem from a traffic stop conducted by Troopers on New York Avenue, during which Picardi was allegedly found in possession of a quantity of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, a scale and plastic baggies.
A search of the vehicle and other occupants resulted in Miranda J. Graham, 37, Hillsdale; Emily R. Dziamba, 36, Hudson; and Naomi A. Greene, 41, Elizaville, each being charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Greene was additionally charged with second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Picardi was arraigned in Canton court and remanded without bail to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
The other three subjects were reportedly released on appearance tickets returnable to the city of Ogdensburg Court for a future court date.
State police were assisted with these arrests by the Ogdensburg Police Department.
