MORRISTOWN -- 1st Congregational Church of Morristown will hold its monthly Third Friday Bonfire Night on Friday, Sept. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the church parsonage, 524 Sand Street Road,, two miles off of State Highway 37, between Brier Hill and North Hammond. The event is free and open to all ages. There will be hot dogs and marshmallows for roasting and a bounce house for younger children to play in. Bring your own chair. This month's change to the second Friday is due to a visit to the North Country by singer/songwriter Jim Drew, from the Rochester area, who will also be performing during the Sunday 11 a.m. worship service at 1st Congregational Church of Morristown, 541 Sand Street Road, on Sunday, Sept. 15.
