GOUVERNEUR — A Gouverneur resident and parolee was charged with possessing drugs and a handgun following a check at his residence Sept. 5, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Arley L. Dahlberg, 39, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies, officers said.
He was allegedly in possession of four grams of methamphetamine and a handgun, officers said.
Dahlberg was arraigned in Gouverneur court by Judge Young and remanded to St. Lawrence County jail without bail, deputies said.
