POTSDAM — A Norfolk woman faces a drug charge after she was found to possess methamphetamine during a traffic stop on Buffham Road by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Megan E. Woodward, 36, was charged by deputies on Sept. 10 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a traffic violation.
The sheriff’s office said its K-9 Shelly was alerted to the presence of narcotics during the stop.
Woodward was ticketed, released, and is to appear in Potsdam town court at a later date.
