LISBON -- A Mass of Christian Burial for Euclid “Uke” J. Cadrette, age 89 of Lisbon will be held at 2:00pm on Monday March 4, 2024, at St. Philip & James Catholic Church in Lisbon with Rev. Kevin O’Brien officiating.
Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00pm at the church. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Canton. Mr. Cadrette passed away on Tuesday morning (Feb 27, 2024) at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Surviving are his children, Michael (Kim) Cadrette of Central Square; daughters, Brenda (Ronald) Walker of Missouri, Denise Cadrette of Lisbon, and Kimberly (Mark) Fuller of Keeseville; grandchildren, Brandon (Brittany) Walker, Megan Walker, Corby (Deidra) Walker, James Fuller, Karissa (Lacey) Fuller, Austin Cadrette; Aidan, Erin & Emma Cadrette; and great grandchildren, Aubrie & Annalee Fuller; Maisy Fuller; Eva, Colin and Meredith Walker; ½ sisters, JoAnne Chevrette of FL, Claudette (Armond) Verville of NH and Barb (Bob) Bragdon of NH.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Cadrette on December 6, 2023, an infant son, Lee Joseph Cadrette in 1959; a sister, Gloria Lashway and brother-in-law, Dick Chevrette.
Uke was born on August 19, 1934, in Altona, NY, a son of the late Euclid J. Cadrette Sr. & Marie (Lashway) & Freemont LaPoint.
He graduated from Altona High School and entered the United States Airforce from 1952 to 1956.
He was later married to Mary Driscoll on June 29, 1957.
During his career he worked as a laborer for Alcoa in Massena for 30 years.
He was a member of the American Legion in Lisbon and enjoyed woodworking, mowing lawn, golfing, watching sports on TV and spending time with his family.
