COLTON - Cathy Lynn (Cota) Cullen was born in Canton, NY to Marjorie & Richard Cota, and passed away on September 14, 2024, in Potsdam, New York at the age of 62. Cathy is survived by her husband, Peter, their daughter, Gina Tanner and her husband Billy, and their son, Bryce.
She is also survived by her sister Karen and her husband Franny McGill, her brother Doug, her sister Marilyn and her partner Carrie Demmers, her sister Carolyn, her sister Lisa and her partner Crystal Cary and her brother Gene and his wife Mara.
Cathy grew up in Lisbon, NY where she graduated in 1980. She then received her associate degree from Suffolk Community College, and then went on to work at the Internal Revenue Service.
Cathy’s hobby was crafting. She did everything from scrapbooking to card making to needlepointing. Cathy also liked to travel. She loved destinations that were national parks. But her favorite pastime was spending time with her crazy boxers.
Her main priority in life was being a mother and wife. She loved her family. And after over 40 years of living away from her parents, brothers, and sisters, she moved back home to be closer to all of them.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam, where friend may call Monday 4-7:00 PM with a service being held at 7:00 PM.
