To the Editor:

The Canton-Potsdam Hospital Guild would like to thank the North Country Pickleball Club for partnering with us for a very successful “Serving Up Wellness” Pickleball Tournament on June 1 at Sandstone Courts in Potsdam. The Pickleball Club did a fantastic job organizing the tournament schedule and coordinating the players. They are a dedicated and hard-working group of volunteers that have helped many organizations in the community, and we are grateful for all their support.

Special thanks go to our tournament sponsors: Cappello and Cappello, PC, Warr and Fries Families, Price Chopper, and Stewarts. Their support greatly helped our fundraising.

We are very thankful for the many individuals, groups and businesses that donated baskets and baked items for our gift basket raffle and bake sale. We were able to raffle more than 50 gift baskets.

Many people volunteered to make sure the event ran smoothly. We are grateful for them sharing their time to help make the CPH Guild Pickleball Tournament such a success. We were able to raise more than $5,000 for the Guild, which will be used to provide services to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital and its patients.
