The Office for the Aging began distributing Farmers Market Coupons July 1 at the Office for the Aging.

Eligible clients will be able to pick them up in person at the office, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The office will be closed on July 4.

Rules and procedures for all locations:

• Only one coupon booklet, per eligible senior in each household; while quantities last.
• The eligible senior must sign up in person. An eligible Health Care Proxy or Power of Attorney with proper paperwork; can sign for the coupons.

Farmers Market Coupon eligibility requirements:

1. Must be age 60 or above; AND
2. Monthly Income at/or Below 185% of Federal Poverty Level: $2,322/month (for a one-person household); Or $3,152/month (for a two-person household); Or $3,981/month (for a three-person household); OR $4,810 (for a four-person household).

• July 8, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Massena-Laurel Terrace; and 11 a.m.-12 p.m., Massena-Grasmere Terrace;
• July 9, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Potsdam Nutrition Center, Midtown Apartments; and 11 a.m.-12 p.m., Mayfield Senior Housing Community Room, Potsdam;
• July 10, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Ogdensburg Nutrition Center, Centennial Terrace; and 11 a.m.-12 p.m., Parkview Street Housing, Ogdensburg;
• July 11, 10:30-11:30 a.m., Brasher Nutrition Center, LBSH;
• July 12, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Gouverneur Nutrition Center; and 11-11:30 a.m., Cambray Terrace, Gouverneur;
• July 16, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Canton Nutrition Center community room, Riverside Drive;
