CANTON -- A 16-year-old Ogdensburg teenager who allegedly assaulted a maintenance man while in the emergency room at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg last month was indicted Thursday by a St. Lawrence County grand jury.

Austin Eibert, 118 Leroy St., was charged with second-degree assault. It is alleged Eibert caused serious physical injury to the man in the emergency room on Sept. 23.

In other grand jury action:

Brandon Bradley, 45, 81 Nightingale Ave., Massena, was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny. It is alleged Bradley unlawfully entered a building in the Town of Massena on May 23 with the intent to commit a crime. While in the building, Bradley is accused of causing damaged in excess of $250.

Scott Briggs, 54, an inmate at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in Canton, is charged with 24 counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child. It alleged that on April 23 in the Town of Gouverneur, Briggs possessed multiple digital images that depicted sexual conduct by a child less than 16 years of age.

Philip Roberts, 38, and Janelle Roberts, aka Janelle Brown, 29, both of 110 Main St., Richville, were both indicted on multiple charges. Roberts was charged with two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, two counts of first-degree incest, two counts of first-degree criminal sexual act, and endangering the welfare of a child. Roberts (Brown) was charged with one count each of the aforementioned charges. The sexual assault and incest charges allegedly stem from the pair acting in concert against children less than 13 years old on about February of 2016 and again in September of 2017.

The grand jury also handed down three sealed indictments.
