CANTON -- A virtual networking event and panel discussion to feature St. Lawrence County’s manufacturing industry will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 4-5 p.m.
The event is to be hosted by the St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency, in partnership with the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center at SUNY Canton, the New York Power Authority and member organizations of the St. Lawrence County Small Business Working Group.
Manufacturing leaders are invited to tune in for the event. A panel of St. Lawrence County manufacturing business leaders will present new products, tools, and techniques that they have undertaken to pivot during the pandemic to maintain business and plan for the future.
Examples of marketing, capital investment, staffing and customer culture will be addressed in their real-life examples.
“St. Lawrence County businesses have had to overcome significant challenges over the last several months due to the pandemic”, says Patrick J. Kelly, CEO of the St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency. “The virtual networking event and panel discussion will offer insight into the operations of some of our local manufacturers and the creative ways they have adapted during these difficult times.”
