MASSENA – The 8th Annual Sandy’s Steps to Edge Out ALS 5K Walk/Run and Cornhole Tournament will be held Sat., Oct. 9 at Robert Moses State Park, Massena.
The 5K Walk/Run will be at 11 a.m. with registration beginning at 10 a.m.
The Cornhole Tournament with a guaranteed $500 for first place will start at 1 p.m.
“We will be raising money this year for mobile water wheelchairs. As always, we offer support for anyone in the community that suffers from ALS. We have support groups and financial assistance and other sources of support upon request,” said Christina Miller, President of Sandy’s Steps, Massena.
The fundraiser will also feature a Chinese action 50:50 raffle, and hot food from An Italian Affair.
