WADDINGTON — “Programs in the Park" series will be offered July and August at Coles Creek State Park, presented by Nicandri Nature Center, Massena.
Programs will be held Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the pavilion at Coles Creek State Park.
Programs are offered in conjunction with a chance for kids 12 and under to earn a “Nature Explorer” patch for completing a nature-themed activity book, available at campground registration and by attending a nature program.
Topics this summer include: CSI (critter scene investigation), Not So Boring Bugs, Habitat Adventures, and more.
Programs include activities, games, and crafts. Check the nature center website for a full list of programs and days.
Programs are free of charge, but park day use fees apply for those not camping at the park.
