CANTON – F.X. Caprara has purchased a second St. Lawrence County car dealership acquiring Parkway Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram on County Route 25 in the Town of Canton.
According to Billy Caprara, co-owner of F.X. Caprara Care Companies with Charles Caprara, the deal was finalized on Thursday.
“There’s a ton of loyal customers in the area and with the geographical ties this brings us all together,” said Caprara. “We enjoy doing what we do every day.”
Caprara said at the end of the takeover process, F.X. Caprara expects to employ 20 people.
“This store will see an influx of vehicles coming in every day,” noted Caprara who added the new location enhances Caprara Car Companies’ ability to offer vehicle service. “We want to sell and service your next car.”
The Capraras purchased the former Parkway Ford dealership on Rt. 37 in Ogdensburg in December 2020, now operating as F.X. Caprara Ford.
Caprara Car Companies now operate six dealerships.
