POTSDAM — Artists, writers, craftspeople, and otherwise creative folks of all ages are invited to make work inspired by Potsdam’s Fall Island for inclusion in an exhibition at the Potsdam Public Museum this fall.
Artist Sara Lynch is organizing an ongoing study of Fall Island through scientific exploration and creative contemplation as part of her Support For Artists grant from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) 2024 project.
There will be instructional events to learn about the ecology of the island but attendance is not required to be included in the final exhibit.
People working in all mediums are encouraged to submit.
More information about this project can be found on Sara’s website https://www.saraelynch.com/blogroll/2024/6/12/calling-all-creatives Final entries are due by email to saralynch@saraelynch.com on Oct. 1.
