She is an employee of St. Lawrence County.
The initial incident reportedly took place Dec. 2022 when Perkins complained of harassing text messages from the ex-wife. She provided police with screen shots and time frames. The ex-wife also said she was being harassed and provided a completely different set of text images, according to police.
Both were warned to not contact each other.
On Nov. 1, 2023, the victim told police Perkins continued to harass her. A second warning was issued, police said.
Following an investigation, Perkins was charged on Jan. 10 and an order for protection was issued.
