To the Editor:

There hasn't been such an important election since the days of Abraham Lincoln. People seem to be talking past, rather than with each other.

The most frightening thing to me is that the current rhetoric convinces me that we have lost the forest for the trees. 

In these days, with so very much on the line, I suggest that there is only one thing to consider. Compared with this, everything else pales.

Which of the candidates will faithfully " preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America".

The American Republic needs you. Protect her or risk having to say goodbye.
