Storey-Welch develops rational, effective solutions

In this year’s midterm elections, Ginger Storey-Welch is hands-down the best choice for the St. Lawrence County Legislature (District 7).

Ginger isn't just running; she’s already doing the work.  To be ready to serve, she's attending both county and town meetings, meeting with county department heads, attending community events in all five District 7 towns, and learning about community concerns as she knocks on doors across the expanse of this large district.

In addition to her 37-year teaching career, she has led her school's union, won awards for her environmental and service work, co-founded North Country Neighbors for Civic Engagement, is vice-chair for the SLC Democratic Committee, and devoted countless hours to local volunteer work including at Hospice and Maplewood.

What stands out to me most is her past work with "Meeting in the Middle," a bipartisan group that brought people together across the political aisle.  She actively seeks new perspectives, weighs potential outcomes, and develops rational, effective solutions; and, that's the kind of legislator she'll be.

She's thoughtful, dedicated, and relentless.  She's already reached out to over 2,150 homes addressing issues that matter most to our community; always living by her core principle: "Neighbors First."

I hope you'll join me in voting for Ginger Storey-Welch for District 7.  She's exactly who we need representing us.
