St. Lawrence County Multi-Use Trail open; permits on sale

The St. Lawrence County Multi-Use Trail reopens Wednesday, May 15.

As a reminder, the St. Lawrence County Multi-Use Trail Committee strongly urges users to strictly abide by all rules and regulations when riding the trail, including:

  • Stay on marked trail.  Enter and exit the trail system only at trailheads or town connectors.  
  • Each ATV/UTV must have a 2024 trail permit, proof of insurance, and registration (if required).
  • Obey all signs, gates and barriers.
  • Motorized vehicles must yield the right of way to all other trail users.
  • All riders must wear a DOT or other approved helmet, protective eyewear and over the ankle footwear.
  • No alcohol may be consumed on the trail.
  • No camping or fires permitted.
  • Respect the environment; do not litter and carry out what you carry in and leave nothing behind.
