AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Cannabis Control Program has revoked King Canna's retail cannabis license.
King Cannis located at 18 Raquette Point Rd.
Officials say King Canna failed to remit tribal retail fees from December 2022 to present day, and failed to provide records of sales from December 2023 to present day.
The suspension notice, served to the owner on January 12, 2024, signified the immediate suspension of the SRMT Cannabis license and since, no further attempts to remain in compliance have been made by the retailer.
Member-owned licensed properties that comply with tribal regulations support programs that assist Tribal community members.
