CANTON -- NCPR’s longtime morning host, Todd Moe, is retiring after a quarter-century of waking up the North Country. The station is hosting a retirement party to celebrate his illustrious career as an announcer, reporter, and staple of our region’s mornings. The retirement celebration party is open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, May 28th from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Legends Room of Appleton Arena on the St. Lawrence University Campus in Canton. Tickets are free but registration is required. Only 100 total tickets are available, so reserve your ticket now at NCPR.org/todd, or by calling (315) 388-6277, option 1. Attendees can take photos with Todd, get his autograph, meet with other NCPR staff, and receive a commemorative gift. A special limited-edition Todd Moe travel mug and the station’s first-ever Northern Light t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Those who cannot attend but wish to make a tribute gift and select one of these limited edition thank-you gifts can do so at NCPR.org/todd.
