Rain, sleet, wind and snow is in the forecast for the next 24 hours or so throughout St. Lawrence County.

Winds with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour are expected with 3 to 7 inches of snow possible tonight and into Thursday.

Here’s a look at the forecast:

This Afternoon: Rain. High near 45. Breezy, with an east wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tonight: Rain and sleet before 9pm, then snow. Low around 30. East wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Thursday: Snow. Areas of blowing snow between 9am and 10am. High near 34. Northeast wind 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Thursday Night: Snow before 8pm, then snow showers after 8pm. Low around 31. Northeast wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Friday: Snow showers before 10am, then rain and snow showers between 10am and noon, then rain showers after noon. High near 39. North wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Friday Night: Rain and snow showers likely before midnight, then a chance of snow showers between midnight and 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 33. North wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
